Utilization of, and access to, very large databases (VLDBs) is greatly improved with statistical control indexation to link instruction formulation, control processing, data addressing and results cataloging. Automated data mining in VLDBs increases the volume of data flows dramatically. It is not uncommon to see 100-fold improvements in processing turn-around for large combinatorial problems and, as a result, many more "runs" are feasible --- utilization generally accelerates substantially.
